The California Legislative Black Caucus will hold a town hall meeting on The State of Black California / San Diego on Saturday, October 21, 2006, 10am - 1pm at the Ed. Cultural Complex Dev. Center, 4343 OCEAN VIEW BLVD, SAN DIEGO, CA 92113.

As vice chair of the Caucus, Assemblymember Karen Bass (D-Los Angeles) will convene the town hall meeting to obtain information from attendees on the social, economic, political and cultural conditions of San Diego County's Black community. The information gathered at this meeting will be incorporated with data from four other regions in California: Los Angeles, the Bay Area, Sacramento, and the Inland Empire, and issued as a report, The State of Black California, setting forth the action agenda of the Legislative Black Caucus.
